When I first accepted my role as the Filipino maid.

When I first accepted my role as the Filipino maid, Angeline, for the secondary school play, I didn't think much of it and just considered it an interesting job. After all, it was my first show after a long hiatus from acting.

As we rehearsed for the show, I got to know my fellow casts more and more and boy, were they wonderful people. And when the show came, my expectations were blown away.

I saw how our work, what we put up on stage, touched the lives of many students. They laughed, snickered and teared- I felt like we were experiencing everything with them too. It was a very unique experience.

I personally felt blessed to bless the students. More than that, I've made some new friends that I hope would last for the long run.
