What a BIG word? But its so important in our RED dot here - SINGAPORE I am 63 years old. I lived in an era of KAMPUNG spirit! Where humble people live side by side. All kinds of nationalities - mainly Chinese, Malays and Indians. No airs and no whims or fancies. No one closes the door but just a simple door curtain. I most enjoyed was the different kinds of cooking, with different aroma and different spices. REALLY SMELLS GOOD! After cooking sometimes the food was shared amongst neighbours too especially during different festival seasons. LIFE WAS SO SIMPLE back then. So memorable for me. ❤
