This is my daddy.
He dated me to fishball noodles before I could even walk. He taught me how to roller blade. He was my problem solver – in math and in love. He’s been my personal chauffeur for 25 years. His response when I once told him that a random passerby had asked for my number was “give him mine”. HAHA
You see, my daddy likes things in control. Because he likes to know he can protect me. He’s the only guy I let boss me around, coz if you know him, he really is DA BOSS and there’s no denying it.
I chose this picture because I think I look like him in it. And I love it like that. Because really, life as his daughter is fantastic. More than just the looks, I want to catch the largeness of his heart for people, and the strong faith he has in our Lord. (I’ll skip on the tummy though, sorry dad)
One day daddy, I know you’ll walk me down the aisle and we’ll both be crying like little kittens on a rainy day. But even after that, I will always be the little girl you bought those pretty dresses and dolls for though you and mum didn’t have much then, and I will always be your supporter for ordering too much food at the dinner table. I pray many greater years of health and joy in your life. Thank you for being my hero. You are irreplaceable!
