Gunong Sayang Association was founded in 1910 as a Peranakan cultural club and they’ll be performing for all visitors during our exhibition weekend. If you enjoy enchanting ukulele melodies, and colourful traditional Peranakan costumes, do keep a lookout for their performance!
Founded with the mission of equipping and empowering youths with special needs, Personalised Love celebrates and embraces the gifts in each individual regardless of their disability. Sew your own leather pouches, luggage tags or card sleeves in this workshop as they take the lead in teaching you the techniques of leather crafting! Open to participants, 12 years and above.
Under the guidance of third-generation potter Stella Tan, you’ll be introduced to hand building techniques, basic tools, and painting required to create your own masterpiece! Using clay, participants will be able to make a mug, pot, penholder, or anything cylindrical. Stella will also be showcasing the beauty and versatility of clay as she conducts a live demonstration on the potter’s wheel. Open to participants, 17 years and above.
